Family Coffee uses the profit from sales to support the Educational Projects of Camianando Por La Paz.

The founder of Caminando Por La Paz was Maryknoll Mission priest Fr. Thomas Goekler.

He Died on Thanksgiving Day 2010. He is greatly missed!

A new way to enjoy your coffee

A part of our education project is to provide a nutritious meal to the children prior to their tutoring sessions.

The funding for our education project comes from a variety of sources including the sale of Family Coffee.

A part of our obligation to the producers is to assist them in their efforts to produce more and even better coffee.

To that end we have established a Go Fund Me project in order to provide funding for an improved drying area.

Here you see some of our producers using the machine that removes the outer coat from the coffee berry. Once this is done the coffee beans need to be spread out to dry. It is only after the drying that the coffee beans can be prepared for export..

OUR CURRENT EFFORT

We have opened a fund drive to provide an improved drying area for our producers. The improved drying area will not only improve the quality of this fine coffee but also increase the amount of coffee for export.

We continue to work with the producers to ensure their ability to continue improving their production methods.
