Below is another video about coffee and history.
Here is a quick question: "Today I was looking a videos about the history of coffee and found one that claims that at one time Catholics were forbidden to drink coffee. Then later in the same video there was a claim that at one point in history a pope baptized coffee. sounded far fetched to me and the video had arabic subtitles so I am asking our readers if they know anything at all about this? Below is another video about coffee and history.

It is of interest to note that their is no machine for picking coffee. It must be done by hand! If you ask we'll tell you why, use the comment button below.
The next process is De-pulping (that is the outer covering is removed by machine. Below is a photo of the machine. Our project will in time help our producers purchase a new machine to De-pulp more coffee in less time. Coffee harvest takes place from November to February. There are actually three different harvests. The first is the lowest branches and then the middle and finally the top branches In the next couple of days we will post other photos dealing with the coffee production.
When you watch the video they claim that the best coffee is from Colombian. We really do disagree. (of course part of our belief is that the better coffee is Arabica coffee.) Our Honduran Coffee is Arabica and so perhaps we are a bit bias. You can give us your opinion below the video In the first post to this site I recommended this method of brewing coffee. It has been my favorite for the past 15 or 20 years. I believe that individual brewing produces the best cup of coffee, especially if you use freshly ground coffee. You could also do this in those Keurig machines; however I have seen in the TV news cast that their latest machine no longer allows you to use anything but their rather expensive little packages. Maybe yes, maybe know. While you take a few short minutes to ponder your response you can watch this amusing video.....
Today we have short (approximately five minute) video which shows how coffee is grown. It is hosted by a Columbian grower but the process is the same for our coffee in Honduras and for Coffee production across the world.
