Only those my age will remember this one Besides wanting to sell coffee, this song from the forties always causes me to remember my early school days. We had a thing called the Iowa Achievement test. It was only to help our teachers understand where we stood in terms of what we might need to learn. The year I remember the test had a question" What is the major export of Basil?

One of the worst things that can, and does at times, happen to programs like ours is that for various reasons funding sources dry up. We strongly believe that if we can develop a strong market presence for our coffee sales we will have secured the future of our program.  We closed the day with a holy hour. At this time we used the gospel story of the rich man who stores up grain only to learn he is to die that very night.  On Saturday August 1, we were able to take some of our neighbors to the United Nations Ecological Park. The three pillars of our program are:
(1) Spirituality (2) Community Service and (3) Education
